I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the doorman and Leonardo. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The location was great, with a mall and market nearby, and it was also conveniently close to the international airport.
Additionally, there were some maintenance problems with the lift and jacuzzi. But overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends based on the comfortable accommodations, convenient location, and friendly staff.

The room was very well equipped and very comfortable
We stayed in this hotel because it was the only place available over Carnival in Rio. It was quite far out of the city but we knew that when we booked it. The hotel was very nice but because of the location, we would be unlikely to stay there again

Nice clean hotel with a good buffet breakfast and stunning views of the city from the roof. Good sized rooms with clean bathroom. Some staff could speak English and they were extremely helpful when my friend felt unwell and even took her to the nearest chemist for meds.
There was a mix up with the booking when we arrived as the staff member could not speak English very well. Also we were asked to pay more than quoted through Booked.net even though we had not used any of the facilities or mini bar. When asked what the charges were for I did not receive an explanation as the systems were down. I refused to pay. Whilst the hotel was nice it was too far out from the Rio centre and the cost of taxi's soon added up. We did use local buses but they took almost an hour and half to get the centre. Also no one seemed to know where the hotel was or even the district in some cases when we asked for directions back from the centre or locally. I would not stay here again simply because of the location otherwise it was pleasant.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the international airport, making it an easy option for those with early morning flights. the hotel is also located near a railway station for easy transportation. Despite the nearby neighborhood being described as horrible by some guests, the hotel itself is clean and the staff are friendly. the rooms are basic but spacious, with enough room for three guests. the breakfast selection is decent with a variety of cakes.
Guests have reported issues with the cleanliness of the rooms, with towels not being regularly changed and surfaces not being wiped down.

Clean, spacy room. The receptionist speaks English.
It is far away from interesting places. About 1.5 hours to Copacabana by metro and train.

I had a delightful stay at Mont Blanc in Duque de Caxias. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The facilities exceeded my expectations, offering a comfortable and enjoyable experience. One of the highlights was the hotel's flexibility during Carnival, allowing me to stay for just two days instead of the usual minimum requirement. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and amenities.

Located a long way from rio's tourist areas. there was no public transport from airport. A taxi from the airport cost BR70/ £25 and this had to be arranged with the driver in advance because the hotel is outside the city limits served by airport taxis. The hotel is adjacent to one of the approach routes to Rio international airport. Great views from the rooftop if that's what you like. Like most hotels in Rio the days are long gone when it was cheap. At £105 per night it was expensive but worth it as a special treat. Hotel staff very good. Unless you have a specfic reason to stay here then a hotel closer to the tourist areas would be better
A long way out of town. I lost count of the times people said why are you staying out there. No tourists. very little English spoken o/s the hotel. But then you are in Brazil so learn some portuguese.

The hotel offered a great range of facilities to make our romantic escape enjoyable. We especially loved the spacious room and the relaxing pool area. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. the friendly staff made us feel welcome and offered excellent service throughout our stay.
The breakfast options were not up to par with expectations. There were limited fresh options, and some of the products appeared to be stale.

Likes: the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, allowing early check-in and providing helpful information. the comfortable beds and clean rooms made for a good night's sleep after a long day of business meetings. Being located near a mall and market made it easy to find food options.
The lack of daily cleaning and towel changes was disappointing, especially for a longer stay. the location of the hotel was not ideal for tourism purposes, as the train station and metro system were deemed unsafe, and taxis often did not know how to get to the hotel.
